I am an English and History major with a minor in Pre-Law and I have a passion for stories! I take a book with me wherever I go in both a literal and figurative sense—literature has influenced my academic, professional, and personal interests and abilities.

My literature classes have advanced my reading comprehension levels and prepared me for both the rigorous reading load of law school and the legal field, given me the ability to dissect dense pieces of information, and communicate complex ideas and concepts.
If being a literature major has been the greatest contribution to my growth as a writer, reader, and editor, my love for books would be the roots of these skillsets and what influenced me to acquire these abilities. Explore some novels that I consider most impactful in my life!
Every great story needs a soundtrack. My love for music was spurred by literature. As a kid, I loved the idea of picking apart the lyrics to solve the "hidden message," understand the characters, and feel the depths of what could be said in mere minutes.
